ENTROIDO IS COMING

Entroido is coming soon and we are going to make new plaster bandage masks this year! Here you can see some examples from the last two years.

Making Plaster Masks Step by Step

 Sixth grade students have made their own masks, you can take a look and learn how to make a plaster mask step by step.




PLASTER MASKS

Materials

You will need:
  • 1 Roll of plaster bandage
  • scissors
  • old newspapers
  • 1 paintbrush
  • Alkil or white glue
  • tempera paints
  • trash bags
  • a bowl of warm water




Step 1 

Cover the desk with old newspapers.


Step 2 

Cut the bandage into strips.



Step 3

Dip the strip into warm water.





Step 4

Then put the wet strip on the person's face and rub smoothly. 


Step 5

Next, put two or three layers on the whole face, rub smoothly.



Step 6

When the mask is dry move your jaw and blow and then pull slowly



Step 7

Draw a design on paper before you paint the mask.
