We had a great time learning to make our own plaster bandage masks!

Making Plaster Masks Step by Step

 Sixth grade students have made their own masks, you can take a look and learn how to make a plaster mask step by step.




PLASTER MASKS

Materials

You will need:
  • 1 Roll of plaster bandage
  • scissors
  • old newspapers
  • 1 paintbrush
  • Alkil or white glue
  • tempera paints
  • trash bags
  • a bowl of warm water




Step 1 

Cover the desk with old newspapers.


Step 2 

Cut the bandage into strips.



Step 3

Dip the strip into warm water.





Step 4

Then put the wet strip on the person's face and rub smoothly. 


Step 5

Next, put two or three layers on the whole face, rub smoothly.



Step 6

When the mask is dry move your jaw and blow and then pull slowly



Step 7

Draw a design on paper before you paint the mask.
